Excellent headset

Bought for my partners ps3 who loves them but he gets a bit over protective of them!! The quality of the headset it self is great, doesn't feel cheap and sound quality is amazing. I suggest to buy rechargeable batteries as they run out very fast especially if your a hardcore gamer.

(Great if you hate to hear the games being played through the TV at ridiculous times of the morning or anytime for that matter)

Hmmm

Now these headphones are great for your every gaming need and you will find they are one of the best on the market at the minute BUT!! be warned as they can inter fair with your WiFi and that's not great when there are other people in your house using laptops and other computing devices . The only thing you can do and its not for the novice gamers is change the WiFi channel until you find one that suits your needs :) but other than that these are like 10 times better than x11s

epic piece of gear px5 all the way

Use the px5 for my mobile , online and offline gaming , watching movies its the all singing and dancing ,

The only con I can find is that the instructions do not tell you how to take the cover off to insert batterys please note do not pull cover, slide down the cover , saves breaking it, also says it is designed for ps3 but I have new slim x box and works perfect ! : )

Best headset ever

Wow This headset is just amazing I have owned lots of pairs of turtlebeach but these are by far the best
when you use sitrep pro on MW3 I can tell where everyone is its so funny. the enemy dont stand a chance.

Turtle Beach

I got these after dpx21 died, had no stock to replace so i upgraded. These are awesome. If you tinker with the sounds and presets you can set them up to your needs, Love the dual bluetooth PS3 and mobile linked at sametime. Only downside is you need AA batteries, get rechargable batteries is my tip.

Very good, but quite hard to set up

These are very good, but the sound profiles are very fiddly and not intuitive even with the videos on the manufacturers site.

The profiles set up on the earphones when they come are more for hardcore gamers that want to fine tune things like footsteps (remove bass and mid range etc), rather than casual users that want sound quality so It takes a lot of fiddling to get them sounding as I wanted. There also doesn't seem to be any decent presets for movies. And the ear defenders really seem to spoil bass.

Even with all of the above I don't regret buying these, I had Creative labs ones before this, and these are far better.

Positives: Light weight, Bluetooth works well, Customisable

Negatives: No recharge batteries, Expensive, Not easy to set up
