Meet the adorable Meerkat family, otherwise known as the Spotters, who have joined the much-loved Sylvanian Families.

Father Harry Spotter is the most alert and watchful creature in Sylvania - and it's a good job because he's in charge of making sure there are no wildfires in the forest.

Mother Beatrix Spotter is always warm and friendly. She loves children and is often babysitting as many as twenty at a time while she bakes them fairy cakes and reads them fairy stories.

Brother Alfie Spotter is such a bookworm that he regularly forgets what day it is and has been known to turn up for school on a Saturday!

Sister Gail Spotter would much rather go for a long walk in the Sylvanian forest than read a book. She particularly enjoys strolling along by the river.

Sylvanian Families Elsie's Ice Cream

Ice cream anyone?

Sylvanian Families love ice cream - it's the perfect treat after a day of adventure.

Elsie Buttercup is well known in Sylvania, for her delicious ice cream, and mobile parlour, which she pedals up and down the promenade - tempting Sylvanian Families as she goes.

As she pedals she sings her "Come buy a lovely ice cream" song at the top of her voice. Children and adults alike, can't resist her wonderful ice creams on a hot sunny day.
