this is a great product , the only down fall is i cannot seem to get cases to fit but still good for making cakes.. love it!!!

i think this product is gr8 es when its getting near xmas and u want to throw a arty:D u can make so many mini cucucakes they come out really nice faster then if u put them in the oven

Stick to the oven!

The sections are a bit small.
Quite awkward to clean if you use without cases.
You need to adjust your recepies quite a bit to suit.
Just stick to using the oven!!

brilliant quick and easy

wasnt to sure if it was worth buying because u can just shov them in the oven but my 4 year old daughter loves it and its pink!!!! we are always making cakes and browines now as its so quick and easy to do once you know what your doing lol.

I love Cupcakes

I absolutely love this mini cupcake maker. So affordable and easy to use.
I followed the instructions for my first batch but found the recipe wasn't great so used my own. Also i found the baking time on the instructions says about 15 minutes but leaving them in for about 20 to 25 gives them a nice golden brown colour. I use an ice cream scoop to put the mixture into mini cupcake cases that i bought in a specialist shop as the holes for cupcake mixture are quiet small, about the size of fairy cakes or queen cakes, if not a bit smaller.
A great buy if you want to cater for your own party. Icing them is fun and easy to and makes them look fancy and expensive.
Only negative thing I find is that the steam that comes out of the machine when opening it burns your hand a little.

A definate worthwhile product

I gave this product a 4* rating as it does have some cons...I bought it as my 6 year old daughter loves to make cakes. The first time we used it, we put the cake mixture directly into the maker (as the instructions advise) but found that the cupcakes had a 'biscuity' texture on the base. This could be due to maker getting extremely hot, I'm not sure, so adult supervision is highly recommended. However, I bought some of those silicone mini cases and the end result was much better. Also, we found that on a flat surface we could fill as many cases as we had mixture prior to them going into the maker as it limited the amount of time spent near to the heat from the maker. The only downfalls I could find is that there is no temperature control (which would have been good) and the electrical flex is a little short, so it means that you have to be quite close to a socket. Other than those couple of gripes, I think it's fab. My daughter is wanting to use it every day!!! Just need to remind her that she has to eat them as well - LOL!!
