really good but

Brought this as early Xmas preemie for the other half and he loveseat, it's excellent quality, sturdy and does exactly what he wants however he was slightly disappointed that the console is extremely memory card orientated and due to this he is unable to do any actual gaming on the console until we have purchased a memory card (which may I add are extremely expensive)

I would recommend but only if you buy memory card at the same time as the console

Very Good

The Vita is handheld, has a great size screen and the graphics are awesome. They have some great games out for it, you can also buy a load online. From new releases to old Playstation one games. Just make sure you have a memory card or you won't be playing any. I love my Vita it is definitely worth the money. I wasn't keen on where the analogue type buttons have been placed at first but I got used to it, all in all a great buy! Would definitely recommend

When the item arrived the box it was in was wet through and falling apart, and had clearly been thrown about. The box to the Vista itself had big creases in it it had been thrown about so much. I was not impressed to spend that much on a gadget only to find it had been treated in such a way. Although on time, the system could not be played due to the memory being sent to the wrong depot.[...]

Excellent

I use the product for a casual use for down time on other games. Great for my lunch break at work. It's front and rear touch screen are top quality with no lag. Only down side is the boring UI but its easy to use so I won't complain :) highly recommend for up coming top games

Sony do it again

Sony once said the only time you get next generation is when release a playstation and I have to say they have lived up to there quote again. This is one awsOme bit of kit. The only drawbacks are the current game catalogue which is small and you feel that the game producers arnt using the system to its full capacity. But there are a lot of titles in the pipe line for late 2012.

Buy this it's that simple well worth the money.

Just a foot note you need a memory card to play games and to download from psn this is not included but that was the same with the psp.

Great console

Great new handheld console from Sony brings power, portability to your gaming! Near ps3 quality games with touch screen and rear touchpad (FIFA uses this brilliantly). The screen looks clear and crisp and the overall quality feels good, maybe except the sticks which feel a bit plasticky (although work much better than the PSP's analogue nub).
At the moment, good games are scarce, but with a back catalogue of downloadable PSP games (I recommend Little Big Planet and God of War (either GoW game)) and some big titles coming in the 2nd half of 2012, the future is good for the lineup.
Augmented reality games, media player, gps apps, and regular firmware updates means that there will be plenty to keep you going over the years :)
