The console is a super cool with the game but they are expensive game.

The machine itself is definitely cutting edge, and I'm sure will have a great range of games over the next few years. I'm looking forward to seeing what it can do. However, there are a few things people should know before buying the PS Vita (some of them are probably mentioned in other people's reviews):- Even though it is advertised as backwards compatible with PS1 and PSP games, this isn't really true. If you have PSP games on UMDs, there is no way of transferring them to your PS Vita. In Japan there is a converter which does this, but Sony have decided not to release this service in Europe and the US due to 'lack of demand'. Therefore, if you want to play your PSP games, you will have to buy them again from the Playstation Store at prices that range from around ��5.00 to ��32.00. There is no excuse for this. Also, despite advertising saying it plays PS1 (original PlayStation) games, it doesn't.- You cannot use your PS Vita without buying a memory card, which are very expensive at the moment. A 16gb card costs around ��40.00, and this is on top of the price of the machine itself. There are no other brands available so far, so you can't even shop around. The games I've downloaded so far seem to be around 1.5gb each, so you won't be able to fit many on a card. If you want to download more than a few games (rather than buy the cartridges in a shop) you will either need to back-up the downloads on your PC and transfer them when you want to use them, or buy additional memory cards.- The overall cost of buying a PS Vita, Memory Card and a full price game is between ��300-��380, depending on whether you buy a 3g version, what size memory card you get, and which game you get. I wouldn't recommend buying one for a child at these prices because it would probably only take one drop to damage it. It's too expensive to treat as a toy.- [...]- Most of the initial batch of games do not particularly appeal to me. I'm hoping to see a wider range in the future, although this is to be expected when a machine is first released.

This is a brilliant console, it has touchscreen on the front and a touch panel on the back the graphics are amazing can't wait until it evolves and better games get released for it, just a shame it's not compatible with psp games and you need a proprietary sony memory card to save games on...you must buy a memory card otherwise you can not play games on the console
