The bed comes with a pair of zesty colour inserts that slot behind the drawer front, allowing your child to choose between orange and lime to suit their mood.

The colour inserts look great behind the trendy cut-out handle, and get added stand-out style by the white finish to the bed frame.

A drawer is fitted with easy-glide metal runners, and an open storage area offers further space for toys, games and more.

STANDARD economy mattress has a medium open foil coil spring unit with insulator pad for extra comfort.
STANDARD PLUS mattress with double the filling of Standard, stitch bond finish.
PREMIUM mattress, 116% more filling than the Standard Plus. No need to turn; finished in a quality Belgium damask fabric.

Not as good or simple as it looks!

I bought this item thinking this item would be perfect for my sons bedroom. Once unpacked there was some slight damage to the item although it would not be noticeable so I never complained. It took my husband approximately 90 minutes to build we found it was easy to put together and was very sturdy and great for storing things. However this is where the problems begin. Firstly there were to very very thin pieces of wood attatched to either side of the bed for the mattress to sit on, there were no slats and once the mattress was sat on the two wooden supports it fell straight through to the floor no way was this matress going to be supported by what is provided So my husband went to local Diy store and had a large base board cut to size which finished it off perfectly. Secondly This must be a european size single bed as it is certainly not a uk size. When I placed the mattress on the bed the bed was about 40cm longer than the mattress so there was a very noticeable gap at the bottom I tried two other single mattresses on this bed to check it wasnt just the mattress that I ordered with the bed but the large gap at the bottom of the bed was the same. However my sons stores his teddies at the bottom. Overall this is a good sturdy bed that looks good. However you will most likely encounter the same problems i had

Negatives: No Mattress Support, Not A Uk Standard Single, No Slats

Kidspace Jasper Bed

Do not purchase this product if you wish your child to sleep in it. I have had two sent now, both failed to include slats. Therefore as soon as you move on the mattress it falls through the bed. Utterly useless. My son is sleeping on the floor [...]. Extremely unhappy as bought the matching bedroom suite and may have to choose a non-matching bed. Don't risk this item.

Bed has no slats!!!!!

Love the bed but it does not have any slats so we have had to go out and buy wood to make our own! The mattress was not supported enough with 2 pieces of wood down each side bed would have been perfect if only it hat slats!!!!

Excellent product let down by the detail

Used in my son's (8 year old) bedroom. Very sturdy once built, extremely attractive piece of kit for the discerning young man/lady. Only let down by the fact that the mattress is resting on 2 fairly narrow plinths and immediately underneath is the under bed storage. It could do with horizontal slats to firm it all up.

Positives: Sturdy, Built by 1 woman, Easy to clean, Instructions excellent, Easy to Build, Materials excellent

Negatives: No slats for mattress, Dovetails not at 90 degs
