jmb overlocker

Good product easy to use. I was disappointed with sales after care. When overlocker needles broke, I was told by JMB that the replacement needles were unobtainable. Universal needles will not work on it

RUBBISH!

Terrible product!
I am an experienced seamstress and bought this for quick jobs at home. Well, it broke within a month! I was using it to make a simple duvet cover when the foot depression jammed, it still lowered manually, but at a real struggle, and then it started making the most dreadful clunking noise! Spend a little extra on a better machine!

Buyer Beware

This machine is inexpensive, but then it should be. The first machine I received was faulty - the sewing foot lever did not work. Was returned and replaced with another machine which was damaged by the sewing oil having leaked throughout the packaging and over machine. Cleaned all of the accessories and accessory box, machine, and all else which was affected, and tried the machine. VERY hard to thread. I am an experienced seamstress, and this is the most difficult overlocker to thread that I have used. Three times attempted to test the machine, each time the result was faulty (in spite of following instructions very carefully.) Machine very noisy and clunky. This machine is definitely not worth the time and trouble, let alone the money.

Took it out the box read all instructions carefully. re threaded it as was and off I went. Worked great till half way through my project when needle broke in half. changed needle and the next one bent. Gone over everything with fine tooth but cant get it to work at all. called the "help" centre the only thing that I was told was that she had the same one and it sounds like somethings out of place!!!![...]

Not worth buying at all.

This broke on me the second time I used it. I spent hours and hours trying to thread and fix it but this machine would not work. I strongly recomend buying a stronger machine but not this one for anyone wanting to use an overlocker machine for regular use or fashion design garment making. This is not a machine I would advice to anyone to buy. I had to send mine back :(

Surprised at quality for such low cost.

Regularly shorten skirts & trousers for friends/family. Much better finish with o/locker. Would have liked more comprehensive instructions as never used one before. Don't understand all terminology.
