I have had three different makes/models of washer/dryer and this is the first one that actually does hat it's supposed to do i.e. wash and dry clothes. My previous two (hotpoints) were noisy, left soap in the wash and took so long to dry anything that I was porbably responsible for using half the national electricty supply! Ths Indesit washes well and dries in a sensible amount of time. It even has a quickwash and dry programme for small loads that will wash AND dry in 50 mins!

very nice looking machine, plenty of options on there, well worth the money, especially when at a discount.

Superb machine - does all it says...

This was bought to help our daughter and her family as her own machine broke down. She uses it most days of the week with her husband doing camping and outdoor activities he is a typical messy man! She had a boy aged 4 at the time we bought this present for Christmas last year and a two year old wee girl - kiss being kids there was always plenty to wash, added to now by 2 sets of school clothes too. Over the weekend there baby number 3 arrived so we reckon the machine will be used even more. It's been nearly a year since we bought it for Catherine and it's never broken down or let her down once. We felt it pretty redundant to write a review for anything less than going on a year so have waited to be sure. [...]

[...] Really pleased with it so far, have done 6 loads- towels, bed sheets, whites, colours, jeans and find the wash quality great compared to our last washer and the cycles are much shorter (though our old one did seem to take an excessively long time to wash) and it's not too noisy either. Was dubious about trying a washer-dryer due to the bad press they receive but I'm so glad I decided to make my own mind up!I've used the dryer for towels and underwear and found it dries in pretty much the same length of time as my separate tumble dryer. I really like the time left indicator and the time delay and the machine is so easy to use. The only small niggles I have is the fact that the shortest drying cycle you can have is 40 mins and you can't open the door when it's drying to check your clothes. Other than that it's perfect!

keeps on breaking

this washing machine broke down after two weeks,finaly got a new one sent and now after a couple washes it wont even start.every time i press start on a wash cycle it just flashes and says end so have to send it back.waste of time and money.
