Separate grill and stay-clean catalytic liners

You'll soon be cooking up a storm with the Hotpoint HAG51X gas cooker with grill and oven. The Stay Clean catalytic liners work on the inside of the oven to break down greese and fats - leaving you more time to cook than clean. The zoned gas oven enables you to cook different dishes at the same time, offering you maximum flexibility.

The Hotpoint HAG51X gas cooker is also available in Black (KX092) and White (KX089).

Worst oven ever purchased

After moving and needing a new oven I found this one, thinking that hot point were a trusted brand this is the worst oven I have ever purchased. After using it the once the oven has burn marks around the gas rings that wont budge, (looks horible)The gas has a saftey device that meens you need to hold the knob in for a few seconds to light the gas which is anoying and for some reason my oven flame keeps going out but the gas does'nt stop pumping out so the whole kitch gets filled up with gas. [...]hotpoint who have sent two engineers out both have said that the gas will stop pumping out after 60 sec which is the with in EU guide lines and there is nothing they are willing to do.Im now stuck with a expensive cooker that is dangerous and Hot point have had there money and couldnt care less, AVOID AVOID AVOID if you dont want to gas your selfs and family

Update on cooker

I have had this oven for several months. I am really concerned by the sharp edges and sides. I have already cut my finger on the side. I intend to complain to Hotpoint as it is unacceptable.

The gas point on the right when ignited is relatively fierce, but when turned down it is fine. This does not happened with the other three.

Positives: Hob is easy to clean

Negatives: Sharp grill, Sharp edge on bottom, Sharp sides on bottom, Bad Design

not a bad cooker

i was first happy on receiving this had to pay gas man 80.00 to have it installed he said it was a good cooker, the next day i started to cook and noticed burnt marks after one dish was cooked and also at the back air vent it started to appear burnt there to, was told to use baby oil to keep it shinny because it looked rather bad just dull silver not sure what else can be done apart from send it back but then another 80.00 to have another one installed cannot be bothered after moving home.

Positives: Safety knobs

Negatives: It doesnt shine, Burn marks appear

this coocker helps me make some lovely meals im glad that i purchised this item
