BRILLIANT GADGET

This trimmer is so easy to use and much better than a strimmer as it does all those areas where a mower cannot go. It is lightweight and easy to hold. The hedge trimmer attachment only does fairly small branches but it is handy to use for clearing small overhanging branches. I wish I'd bought one of these ages ago!!

Smart little gadget!

This compact gardening tool is fabulous! It comes in a compact wall mounted case which keeps everything neatly together. Charges is no time and cuts through shrubs, grass and all hedges like a hot knife through butter.
I have been showing it to everyone and they like it so much they are all looking to make the purchase!

A sturdy little 'helpmate'

I needed a light, easy to use trimmer for a privet hedge, various shrubs and a couple of fruit trees. I was drawn to this product because of its name - Flymo, and so far it hasn't disappointed. The blades are really sharp - just a touch to the smaller twigs etc and they just shear off straight away. A bit more effort required for thicker branches. On the whole a good buy and value for money. Would recommend to others for light 'barbering' work in the garden.

Persevere with this one!

I bought this for my Partner as a Father's Day gift from our Son. He was initially hesitant about it due to the size geing quite small and us having arguably some of the most overgrown hedges in all Northumberland, however we duly charged it up and away we went. It made fairly light work of the privet, albeit the larger branches seem to "jam" in the blades, however we found that if we held the larger branches against the sawing edge for a small while it would eventually cut through with a neat edge. This also has a handy tool which can be used to shape shrubs and bushes and this is excellent.
My only issue with the product it the battery life, you find that you are not quite finished and it runs out, then takes 45 minutes to re-charge. I would say if you need to tackle a large area then buy a bigger Hedgecutter than this one, but this would be excellent for someone like my Mother who is less confident with large power tools.
