dangerous and should be recalled

I actuallly bought two of these bikes. One for myself and one for my mother. [...]As former avid cyclists,I thought that these would be ideal for us to get back into the swing of things. They look great and the comfty seat was ideal for her.Very easy and very quick to put together but that is where the good points end. Firstly, the allen key to tighten the handle bars doesn't fit. On both bikes it just wouldn't do up properly (even got a hefty guy to help) ended up using my own keys and well still no good. You think they are tight get on and ride only to find that the handle bars twist round when you go around the corner. They just won't stay aligned to the wheel. Very dangerous!! Don't get me started on the brakes! They rub and no amount of altering them improves. Even a professional couldn't fathom it out. Again with the seat, just won't tighten so constantly moves. This isn't just one bike but both! Terrible manufacturing. Makers unhelpful. Wish I had returned them!

LOOKS GREAT ON SURFACE

PROS - EASY TO PUT TOGETHER AND ON SURFACE LOOKS GOOD

CONS - VERY HEAVY FOR LADY RIDER AND HAS GREY PLASTIC COMPONENTS WHICH CHEAPEN THE LOOK

GREAT BIKE FOR OCCASIONAL USE I HAVE SOUPED MINE UP WITH WHITE MUDGUARDS NEW PEDALS LOOKS MUCH BETTER :)

Elswick Premier Ladies Bike. Very Comfy

Very comfy bike, not ridden a bike for years, tried a few, this one was by far the comfiest with the extra seat suspension and the padded seat. Really easy to put together too.

i would buy this product again

lovely bike easy to put together,the seat is so comfy, very smooth ride great for riding work or to keep fit with the kids. I can not fault the bike perfect. I haven't riden a bike for over 20 yrs that says it all.
