Well worth the money

I purchased this plus the lamp table, sideboard and TV Cabinet.
Took a while to put together as did it on my own but used an electric screwdriver which took out some of the pain and screwing in all the bits and bobs.
Looks fantastic in my dining room

Really nice product. Not the most sturdy wood but looks more expensive than it was. Slightly time consuming to build (about 3 hours) but lovely product. Have also bought the other bookcase and coffee table.

Good when on a tight budget

unles you get close up this does look like real wood. Obviously when you touch it and it is smooth you can tell it isn't. this really does look good but be aware that it is not perfect. if you can afford a real wood piece then that is always going to look better. the pieces do not quite join up completely, leaving small gaps at the edges of the shelves/surround.the back board is in two halves. you are supplied with a horrid brown plastic strip to hold them together. i didn't use this and so far it is fine. if i'd had to use this strip the bookcase would have looked terrible.i have ordered 2 x side boards which i am still waiting for - i'm looking forward to having the full set.

did you run out of chip board

used as a bookcase, but the draw won't hold much as it is only a piece of hardboard on the base.The back board is two pieces joined with a nasty piece of plastic strip which is very noticeable. It's the worst piece of this range i've bought!

Very happy with this unit, looks stunning in my living room. My husband put it together and said tghat it was reasonably easy to assemble. The unit is very well made and is very solid.Only one thing that lets this unit down and that is the back panel is in 2 pieces and to join these 2 pieces is a plastic strip, and this strip is a completely different colour to the rest of the unit, and it stands out like a sore thumb.......but overall very hapy with the unit.

Lovely piece of furniture, very sturdy and looks more expensive than it actually is. Easy to follow instructions. Some of the corners were quite badly damaged even though they were packed really well, but thankfully were covered up by the outside cosmetic parts of the unit! one very negative part of this unit is that on the back where there are 2 very thin sheets of mdf there is a brown plastc strip to bring these sheets together stands out like a sore thumb, as the unit is rustic oak effect and the plastic strip is dark brown and looks very cheap! think some more thought could have gone in to making this better in the design. But overall i would recommend this.
