GREAT PRODUCT

I had the JMB overlocker, it broke the second time I used it. Went with the Brother instead, it is a far superior machine and well made. I have had a Brother sewing machine for ten years and never had anything go wrong with it, and it gets used a lot. I will hopefully be using this one in 10 years from now.

It was very easy to set up, no thread cones but there was thread in the tension disks I tied my thread onto each of these threads and set the tension to 0 on all the dials and pulled the thread through and then through the needles, so it was easy to use straight away. When you do have to rethread the colour coded system makes it very easy and the slider for the lower looper is fantastic. A very solid machine with good stitch quality. Handles a variety of fabric without adjusting the tension dial, like it says most sewing can be done using setting 4. The dvd is very clear for beginners. A trim trap and blind hem foot are included which makes this machine even more of a bargain. I love it. suitable for beginners or experienced overlocker users.

a Brother Overlocker at last

Once you get an overlocker you will wonder how you managed without one. This is a replacement for my old Brother and it has several improvements. You can make trousers in an evening and the finish looks so professional. Some people say they are hard to thread, but I have never found it a problem - just follow the colours, or look at the dvd, which also shows use of optional feet. {It would be nice if these were sold too.}

AMAZING PRODUCT

I am totally over the moon with this product i just love it! i had so many problems in the past with the JML overlocker that i nearly gave up on them! but this brother overlocker is amazing easy to use and fun it comes with excellent dvd information/instructions which shows you how to thread the machine from step to step the overlocker is light in weight and easy to use which makes your projects and or simple alterations more fun to do!
the machine is also a good quality it comes with one year insurance.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO BUY THREAD BEFORE YOU PURCHASE THE MACHINE!!
