The ASUS K55 features an aluminium construction and comes in an array of colours. It features a sleek, wedge-shaped design with a textured finish.

The K55 has an array of features designed to make computing easier. It features an ergonomically-designed iF Design award winning chiclet keyboard; while IceCool Technology places heat-generating components away from the palm rest, ensuring a comfortable typing experience for users even after prolonged periods of use. It is accompanied by a large multi-touch pad for smooth, intuitive fingertip control.

ASUS SuperBatt Technology provides an extended battery charge-cycle lifespan that is up to 3x that of normal notebooks. The K55 features a smartphone-like “always on” user experience thanks to the ASUS Super Hybrid Engine II with instant on technology. It enables the K55 to resume from sleep mode in just 2-seconds, and provides up to two weeks of standby time. In addition, it automatically secures and backs up data when the battery drops to 5% charge.

Bought this for xmas for my hubby who can barely use a computer.My grown up sons who are very good on computers find the windows 8 quite difficult, but said it was nothing to do with the computer. They thought it was an excellent purchase

loads others pages when dont want them

it opens windows & pages you don't want open , you cant have more than 1 page open at a time ,cant view full emails the edge is missing no way to minimise side info , & keeps trying to add another browser when I already have internet explorer its asking to choose a browser after ive already clicked internet explorer!!!!!

bought to of these for my children as gifts for Christmas, very good price,

I love this laptop!!!!!!!!

I love this laptop it is so easy to use and doesn't even get hot while your using it, the battery also lasts ages even if you are using it. I also love the kindle app that allows me to read all my kindle books on the computer and all I had to do was sign into my amazon account and voila! my books were there!!!! my laptop was even delivered the day before it was due so very happy with the service I received.

Fantastic laptop

I bought this laptop primarily to do my college work on which I mainly use Excel for, and to surf the internet and play occasional games. It arrived very promptly and was really quick and easy to set up - I was up and running in minutes. The laptop seems very fast when using the internet and is also perfect for my college needs.
