this is a great way to keep the kids busy its a shame it only comes with one pen though as we do get the odd fight over whos turn it is to draw but my kids love it.

Aquadoodle and Aquadraw

I ordered one for my son for Christmas. But I was very disappointed when I found out that it is totally different product than one I have ordered. I went for this one because of its size and because it had different pictures that you have to wet and only then you would be able to see it. But I got different size mat and no pictures to be "magically revealed"... only white letters. But if you read carefully the information of the product, you will see that selling item is Aquadoodle Classic (that's what I got delivered) but pictures are for Aquadraw Classic and it's two different things. It was important for me because my son is only 18 months and it's hard to keep him busy with something longer than for few minutes... but those pictures that "magically reveal" could do the job... The mat that we got delivered he doesn't have an interest for it.

Good idea in theory

This is a great idea in theory so your child can draw without the worry of felt tip pen on your walls! The problem is my 2 year old son was bored after 5 minutes as there is no colour to it! The effect is similar to putting water on a coloured piece of paper obviously the colour goes slightly darker where the water is, its just no that exciting. [...]

my kids are very creative but as a busy busy mum i dont always get the time to sit with them and this would be great so i dont have to worry about my flooring and walls while they draw happily #:)
