Very sturdy components means this will be around for a long time in my garden. Light to move around. I have some box shaped planters to hold the base firmly in place - so cool looking and solves any gusty winds that could topple it. Very pleased with this.

Looks lovely and covers a large area. Only downfall is it needs sand bags or weights to hold it down - which doesn't look good. But my Husband made a table/Box around it and now it looks lovely.

Very stylish and an excellent size. I have used two large flat based flower planters to hold it in place as there are flat plates on the base and made a bit of a feature of it with tropical plants, looks great and much better than sand bags.

this is a lovely item except for the base which is too small for such a big shadeit will blow over unless you drill it to the ground on decking

hanging parasol is great, fully functional, great shade modern nice to look at and can moved anywhere in the garden.

NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE

This product is absolutely not fit for purpose and a real danger to young children. The base is not designed to take the weight of the parasol and this is stated in the instructions. They recommend you use flagstones or sand bags to weigh the base down! Nice! I ended up using 72.5lb (a person) in barbell weights to try and hold the base down but it still blew over in the slightest gust of wind nearly knocking out my 2 year old son. I could have put more on I suppose but why should I have to? Its looks simply awful. Why have a gorgeous parasol with flags/weights/sandbags or whatever loaded up round the bottom. Just not good!!
